From the Suicide Prevention Program Office
You asked for them, now they’re here, and they’re Free!
The new magnet lists a telephone line that is manned 24 hours a day – choose #1 and talk to someone who’s familiar with military life, or, go to the website for a live chat or the Self-Check Quiz.
The magnet is the result of focus group feedback from Sailors, leaders, and family members. The design is based on the web link displayed on every official Navy website that promotes “Life is Worth Living.” Service members, veterans and their families have said putting a magnet on a refrigerator makes the contact information easy to find when they want someone to talk to or need help or information.
Magnets come in batches of 50 and are now available to order for FREE through your official command supply channel.
How to order:
Contact your command supply department. Your command Logistics Specialist can place the order through the Naval Logistics Library. The magnets are free and are available to order in packages of 50. Depending on the size of your command, you can order two packages or twenty, etc. If you are an Ombudsman or Family Readiness Group (FRG) leader, you’ll go through your local Fleet and Family Support Center.
